Mr John Kwame Gyamfi

Yaanom John Kwame Gyamfi was born on April 2 1927. He completed Abuakwa State College in 1952. He entered The College of technoligy now Knust and majored in Accounting. He worked with Gihoc pharmaceutical till 1972 after which he joined the Tata Brewery as it financial controller .He continued working with the company after the change over to Achimota Brewery Company Limited. He left the company and joined  Ghana Consolidated Diamond as its chief accountant  before retirement.
He was also a lecturer at the University of Ghana business administration department.
He was the first Ghanaian to be admitted as fellow of The UK association of Certified accountants.
He stood on the ticket of PNP as a parliamentary candidate for Akwatia constituency during the 1979 elections.
He was enstooled as Saanahene of Akwatia for his contribution to the community.
Yaanom Kwame Gyamfi is still active at a proud age of 92
